Image Galleries
Amongst the Friends of Kempton are some enthusiastic photographers. The galleries featured here show some of the wide variety of images they have taken of the wildlife at Kempton.
We are always pleased to get new pictures, which may either feature in a gallery or to illustrate other parts of our ever expanding website. Don't be deterred if you think your pictures are not "competition standard" , what's important is to show the great diversity of wildlife at Kempton. We'd like members (and visitors!) to contribute to a collaborative slideshow of all the birds that can be seen at Kempton. So if you've got pictures of robins, mallards and wood pigeons we'll feature you alongside the avocets and the garganeys! We are also keen to do one on the non avian "other wildlife" at Kempton featuring the birds, bees, dragonflies, frogs, newts, flowers and trees (amongst others). Images need to be in digital format and can be sent to Kristine Boudreau via email or on disc.
And if anyone would like to sponsor a photographic competition - do get in touch.
We do get really great pictures of some of the exceptional birds to be seen at Kempton, as can be seen from this picture by Alan Woolley, winner of our 2006/7 Photographic Competition.
Please note that all images are copyright to the different photographers - we are usually happy for them to be used elsewhere, provided acknowledgment is given to both photographer and Kempton Nature Reserve. For commercial use of any photograph or image please seek prior permission from the Reserve Warden.
